They say life has a way of leading you to your true purpose, often through the most unexpected and challenging experiences. My journey into the world of skincare and the creation of my Day Spa business began not with a dream, but with a painful reality—one that left a lasting mark on my skin and, more importantly, ignited a passion within me.

Hi! My name is Siomara, the founder of Crowning Glory Beauty Parlour.

It all started with an accident that resulted in second-degree and partial third-degree burns on my face. The physical pain was only part of the struggle; the emotional toll of seeing my reflection change overnight was even more profound. My skin, once something I had taken for granted, became the center of my world. I embarked on a journey to heal, restore, and reclaim not just my appearance, but my confidence.

As I embarked on the arduous journey of healing, I discovered a new world that was both daunting and fascinating: The World Of SKINCARE! I started researching ingredients, learning about different treatments, and understanding the science behind skin regeneration. What began as a necessity turned into an obsession, and soon, a deep-seated passion. I learned about the delicate balance of skin health, the power of natural ingredients, and the importance of self-care. Each step of the journey became a lesson in resilience and self-discovery. The process has not been linear. My skin remains a work in progress, often reminding me of the fragility of beauty and the strength of the human spirit. I’ve learned to embrace my imperfections and recognize that true beauty lies in authenticity. 

As my skin gradually improved, I realized that my experience could help others. I understood what it felt like to be self-conscious about your skin, to search endlessly for solutions, and to crave the confidence that comes with healthy, glowing skin. That’s when I decided to turn my personal journey into something bigger—I opened my own Day Spa.

Through my own healing journey, I discovered that skincare is more than just treatments and products; it’s about self-care, confidence, and embracing your God-given beauty. This revelation inspired me to create a space where others could feel seen, heard, and empowered in their own skin. That’s why I launched Crowning Glory Beauty Parlour —a sanctuary dedicated to personalized skincare, healing, and transformation, where individuals could come to heal not just their skin but their mind, body, spirit and soul. I pour my heart and soul into building my business, ensuring that every detail contributed to a calming and rejuvenating atmosphere. Every detail matters- from the calming décor to the soothing music that fills the air. I cultivate a space where people can escape the stress of daily life and focus on nurturing themselves. I want to create an environment that fosters relaxation, rejuvenation, and self-acceptance. My goal is to provide personalized treatments that caters to each client's unique needs, drawing from my own experiences to guide my approach.

Beyond my professional journey, I am a mother to four beautiful children who have my heart. Navigating the hardships of single parenting has been challenging, but it doesn’t compare to the love and fulfillment I experience as a mom. While I’m a workaholic, and constantly pushing forward, my kids are my grounding force and the reason I strive for more. 

As a Puerto Rican woman I cherish my heritage and the value it instills in me. I was born in Boston, MA, and raised in Milwaukee, WI. Over the years I’ve lived in Florida and spent some time in the Dominican Republic before settling in and calling New York City home.  Ive always had a spirit of adventure. I love to travel, try new things, and, yes, even stir up a little mischief. Life is meant to be lived fully, and I embrace every moment with curiosity and excitement. 

Above all, my deepest love is for God. Jesus is my peace, my foundation, and the source of my strength. His grace has guided me through every trial and triumph. Through my work, I strive to share that same sense of healing and restoration with others.

Every day, I wake up grateful-not just for where l've been, but for where I'm going. And through it all, I hope to inspire others to embrace their beauty, their faith, and their own path of healing and self-acceptance. I continue to explore new treatments and techniques, ever eager to enhance my own journey and that of my clients. 

At Crowning Glory Beauty Parlour my mission is to help you achieve healthy, radiant skin while providing a haven where you can relax, rejuvenate, and experience spiritual renewal. My own skin is still a work in progress, much like my journey—but that’s the beauty of it. Healing is not a destination; it’s a continuous, transformative process, and I’m honored to walk this path with you.

In the years to come, I envision expanding my spa to reach even more people, offering educational workshops on skincare, self-care, and mental well-being. Together, let’s celebrate the beauty of resilience and the transformative power of self-love, and more importantly the love of God towards each other.
